STONEORGY
S T O N E O R G Y is a deconstructed club / experimental electronic music record produced in collaboration with musician Giek_1. It is both a music record and series of ritual music-performances that was based on a research into paganism, druidry and the power of oral story telling in 2019 - 2021.
In the music record and in the live-performances, a speculative pagan world is created, interlacing atmospheres of a music-gigs with storytelling of a seemingly ancient world, featuring sacred standing stones, cave clubs, and intimate encounters with a sacred substance called dirt.
The record was performed live at Garage Rotterdam (2019), MU Hybrid Arthouse Eindhoven (2020), IMPAKT Festival & LeGuessWho? (2021), Dat Bolwerck Zutphen (2022) and ultimately the music video's for DIRTY and EARTHHURT became part of EARTHSHRINE (2022) - creating a symbolic ending of the project.
