Curated Shows
In 2021, I co-curated the manifestation RE_NATURE together with curator Imke Ruigrok in several locations in Den Bosch (NL).
I focused on the chapter exhibition RE_MEMBER and created a show including Tabita Rezaire (FR), Institute of Queer Ecology (US), Melanie Bonajo (NL), Zheng Bo (CN), Arahmaiani (ID), Keiko Sato (JP), Amanda Piña (CL) and Müge Yilmaz (TR). I also helped shape the live programming with a workshop by Arahmaiani (ID) and Amanda Piña (CL) and Noam Youngrak Son / Institute of Queer Ecology (US).
We evoked non-western connection and experiences of "nature" and investigated what has destroyed such connections, and how they can be rekindled. The whole festival presented 45 artists and projects; Atelier Van Lieshout, De Onkruidenier, Ambassade van de Noordzee, Iris van Herpen, Next Nature and Olafur Elliason, and others.

In spring 2022, I was invited by Colette Olof to co-curate a show in MELKWEG EXPO Amsterdam. Orbiting the work of Robin Wall Kimmerer and notions of the more-than-human, the show All Flourishing is Mutual brought together young, local, and international names such as Sissel Marie Tonn (DK), Layla Durrani & Liza Prins (NL/USA) and others. Through my invitation, the platform Queer Nature (US) and artist Ella Yolande (UK) both had their first show in the Netherlands.

In the spring/summer of 2021, I curated a group show with my mentees at Odapark, Venray, in the context of the Master|Appretice traject from Kunstpodium T.
Inspired by a series of writing assignments and sharing the results with each other, (snippets of) characters and speculative worlds were created. Each artist entered a new speculative world through three chosen pitfalls. The place that has been created connects the artists' works with each other, while also leaving room for interpretation.
